Doodle QR
Scanners read only the center of each module. Everything in blue is yours to draw on.
Bigger sizes have more error correction to spend but smaller modules.
Changes which dots are black. Try a few for a layout you like.
Dots
35% is a safe default. Smaller gives more room but needs a steady camera.
The small square near the bottom right helps scanners correct for a tilted camera. Phones read it fine as dots; switch to big dots or solid if a scanner struggles.
Free zones (spend error correction)
The rest is kept as margin for camera noise and stray pen marks. Above 70% is risky.
Paint adds or removes one codeword (8 modules) at a time. A block that is out of budget will refuse more.

"With blue" is the doodle guide. "Clean" is only the dots and patterns, for tracing or a lightbox.

Scan test
Decodes the clean code, then a worst case: every gap scribbled black at random and every free zone filled with noise.
